I've failed a lot, and I keep learning, just as you shared, that failure isn't a place to dwell.
This week alone, I've received doses of rejections, and this post was so timely. I'm even too shy to share my failings with my friends. Maybe someday I will.
I'm reading Margaret Thatcher's autobiography and Divergent by Veronica Roth in my spare time.
"But like grief, failure is not a place to dwell. You don’t sit in it. You don’t wallow. You get up. You apply again. You try to be better—not just to prove something to others, but because growth is its reward." This right here sealed it for me. Thank you, Chief.
Johnstone!
The timeliness of your posts should be studied.

Don't stop writing, Chief!
Ouuu! Hang in there, Faith! 🤍
Thank you so much for your kind words.
Oh, I enjoy reading (auto) biographies. I will check Divergent out as well. Thanks for sharing! 🫶🏿

Thank you for reading, Madam President! 🫡🤍
I wrote a difficult exam yesterday,
While still in the hall,I was worried I wouldn't make it to cut off mark.
This is what failure or intending failure does to me and I am sure someone else would resonate with this ideology as well.
I just pushed my fear aside and used my head to try to understand the questions and provide suitable answers for them to best of my ability.
My fear didn't really go away, it's still there somewhere in the pit of my stomach but at least I gave it my best shot.
So the moral of my short narration is to try in the face of failure.
Thank you for sharing with us Johnstone.
Oh yes! That courage to carry on is really what makes failure bearable.
All the best in your exams, M.
